POCKET BOOK MAKING WORKSHOP

SMALL WONDER OUTSIDER EVENT
CHARLESTON TRUST / SEPT 2013 / FAMILY EVENT

A drop-in family book-making workshop took place in the garage/pottery at Charleston Trust during Small Wonder Short Story Festival 2013. Participants were free to drop-in and create pocket-sized concertina pop-up books, accordion pockets, and hardbound covers from a range of papers and card.

Using grey board and buckram participants were shown how to create their very own pocket sized concertina book complete with pop-up sections, accordion pocket in the back of their book. Books included movable paper embellishments, pop-up sections and coloured-shape collage.
